Cheap Holiday in Lloret !

Thanks to Maggie for sending this example of the prices of package holidays in Lloret. I'm not sure what year this brochure dates back to, both hotels are still here today, but the Montecristo is known by another name....answer, anyone ??

  6. Yes, looks like the Casino to me. I recognise the apartment block next door...The Placamar, not sure how its spelt!

  11. Definately the Casino Royal, it was my first holiday to Spain when i was 16 was to the Monte Cristo in January I remember going to the Plough and the Moby Dick, got an old photo somewhere taken in the Monte Cristo and the Plough. Joan

  12. That is the Casino Royal and the apartments are the Plajamer ( Excuse Spelling ) I faced the Casino when at the Plajamer Max Pax Enanue

    It is The Casino now.
    Remember looking at the Montecristo while waiting for the Clipper coach to arrive ?.
    Got a couple more brochures will dig them out.....surprising how many hotels still have the same name.

  14. Yes its the Casino now, used to go over and sunabthe by the pool when it was the Montecristo in lunch hour from work.

  15. The photo of the bar is a classic photos showing British men wearing dark socks under sandals. God we were trendy in those days.
