I've just heard some terrible news that 'Good on yer Bob' has sadly passed away, such a shame....I'll add more details when I find out more. It was only a few days ago that I publish a photo of him, here is another I have found on the site pictured with Aunty Jean....RIP Bob from your Lloret friends.
Hi jackie ,just seen bob has passed on , worked with him in the western saloon in benidorm in 1974 ,great man ,he Came to see me in salou in 1985 ,last year i Came to lloret re.unión in september but missed him by a few days ,a great pity ,good on you bob !, and all the old school workers ! ReplyDeleteI remember Bob, I was in Lloret in 71,72,73,74, I always rember him having an old 4wd could have been a Land Rover with no roof. He was always very helpful to newbies. I have often thought about him, in fact I ended up buying an old Landie on the strength of his. Condolences to his family. RIP
