La Campana - Pedro's

Todays photo looks like Christmas or New year at Sweeneys, with a young looking Steve on the right and also a very young looking Sax on the left!

Rabbie Burns

Going back to the Rabbie Burns in1971 for these two, thanks to John McSwan for the loan of these photos. He told me a story about someone in one of these photos, they married someone who was very famous at the time - does anyone else know the story?

Todays Photos....

Todays photos were sent by David Sinclair, Omelet and Debbie. David is in the centre of the first picture (which I believe this was taken in Sweeneys?)
Omelet is in the centre of the middle picture.

The last one, going far back in time to the days none of us are old enough to remember, possibly to the early 50s, Thanks to Debbie for sending this one.

Captains Arms

These two should get the comments rolling in !

In the first photo dated 21-8-72 (thanks to John McSwan) John himself is behind the bar in the Captains Arms, and on the left at the front is Tommy...now in the Navy bar in Fenals.

The second photo (is this the Highwayman?) belongs to Rod still a regular visitor to Lloret. He is at the very back of the photo, also in the picture is Alan Hagger (Oh no, not him again !) next to Alan is Sally.
I did have a couple more names wrote down somewhere, but I don't know where...was it Paul on the left ?

Sweeney Todds

One more from David Sinclair, who worked in Sweeney Todds between the years 1984-88.
He also included the names (see below) of the people in the photo...Thanks for that David !

La Uva

I have still plenty of photos from (Aunty) Jean which she spent ages on sorting out for the blog. Here we have 2 more from her collection, the top one from the year 1986. I'm not sure where this was taken...were you in the picture ?
The bottom one, taken in 1987 is Jean alongside Ray behind the bar in La Uva.
