Photos from Joe.
I was asked last night if there was any way we could have a calendar on the site in which you could all personally fill in with the dates of your visits to Lloret.
After searching around this morning the easiest one I came across is already on the Message Board. With this you only have to click on the icon at the top of the page after you have signed into the board...then simply click on new event, and fill in the dates of your stay and any other details such as where you are staying etc. (dont forget your name!) That way it would be easier to catch up with friends you haven't seen for a while and maybe arrange to meet up through the board.
Hopefully this will do the trick so give it a try and we'll see if it works out ok....let me know if you have any problems!
There is also a link to the calendar on this page in the left hand column.
Thanks to Joe for his photos today, the top one features the Texas, the 2nd is from the Buchaneer and last but not least the Village Inn.

These photo's were sent to me by Joan, she has also kindly given all the names and the years they were taken. (Thanks again, Joan)
''The first picture Stevie Lynch was taken in the Buccaneer in 1980 left to right Saxon Chico ( Charlie Wrigley and Stevie Lynch''.
''Second was a mock wedding that was held in the Duke of York in 1978, two of the workers got married (mock) and it was such a great day, we all had our invitations someone dessed up as a minister and we had food and music. From left to right in the picture is Val Winters (my sister ) John Newlove ,Bev from Doncaster, Wayne, Pete from Doncaster, he actually wrote a song about working in Lloret, only few words I can remember is " Oh Lloret Oh Lloret this is one place I'll never forget !" There was another chorus "On the beach on the beach that is the place that we always meet ! Maybe some one knows the song. Then there is myself at the end, my maiden name is Joan Winters and I worked in Rosy's restaurant on San Pedro, one of Maurice's restaurants''
