 Here we have a few of Auntie Jeans photos from the late 80s, in the top photo are Russell & Andy with Jean at El Relicario. In the 2nd photo is Chick & Andy,  not sure where it was taken but looking at the board could it be Sweeney Todds?

 In the photo below are Mary, Frank and Jean in the White Horse, then in the last photo are Annie, Jean and Debbie.

Back the the 80s today with more pics from Paul Seager, Paul has added the names of everyone he can remember.....

First photo is Ronnie and myself as prop manager that year with two props from Brighton – don’t recall their names.

 Second is Steve the Doorman from Basildon, Davey Sinclair – I believe I gave him his first job in Lloret and Georgy a Spanish prop that we had.

 Last pic is one of us all after putting decorations up for party night,  Again its Joseph, Davey Sinclair, John, Nigel and myself.  Dont recall other two guys.

First photo is one of our Christmas parties for Saga.  There is Ronnie in the background with Scouse Eddie, Joseph, Sonia and myself and the Spanish photographer Ramon.

 

Second photo is myself and Eddie, who was the DJ at Sweeneys for a while, in the bar at Christmas.

The third photo is myself, Ronnie, Jane (I believe), cant recall the girl in the dress, Steve the doorman and two of Russell’s mates from Greenoch.

Ronnie, Sonia, me, Eddie and Rosa.  Interestingly enough the suit Ronnie has got on is the one I borrowed to fly back to Enjgland to get married in!

 I've received a great selection of new photos this time from Paul who managed Sweeney Todds during his time in Lloret. Just a few of Pauls pictures are posted below and also parts of his email giving details of the pics...there's many more to come yet! If anyone remembers Paul and would like to get in touch with him I do have his email address which he has said I can pass on.

 I was in Lloret de Mar from 1982 – 1987 and used to manage Sweeney Todds bar.  I then went on to partnership a bar in Calella.  I have about 30 photographs if you are interested which I can send you through in batches with whatever information I can remember.  I am interested in contacting some of the old crowd that I worked with during those years and by the way I think the website is a fantastic idea.

 The first pic is of me and our doorman Steve, I don’t recall the other guy but he was a prop for us. 

 Ronnie who was the co-owner of Sweeney's – on his motorbike with Sonia, one of our barmaids on the back

John and Steve from Basildon who I am still in contact with.  The blonde girl is Diane who I met whilst a prop in 82 and who came back as a worker the following year, who I shot back to England, married and we came back and carried on working.  I believe we were one of the few married couple workers.  The other guy is Nigel who was our DJ at Sweeney's.

Many thanks to Trevor for letting me take some photos from his website for the Old Stuff.

He has just had a few days in Lloret, sadly I didn't get to see him as he was too fast for me to catch him....judging by his photos he was here, there and everywhere! 

Those of you who were here in 1985 may remember Trevor when he was working for Andy & Jackie Milroy in the Sgt Peppers where he started his very successful career as a DJ.

He also worked in Churchills and Sweeney Todds.

!st pic - Doreen with their daughter Louise and Soapy in the backround in LA Uva.

2nd pic - Louise, Colin and Red Debs about mid 90's.

3rd pic - is in Sweeney Todds when Soapy and Stewart had it about 1990, the couple in the middle were a singing act working over xmas. Soapy again hovering in the backround.

The year on the top photo is 1990, and Jean is stood with Soapy who ended his time here in Lloret running La Uva with 'red' Debbie. They did turn it into an Irish bar, of which I have photos myself somewhere, I'll have to get them out!
He eventually had to return to the UK because of ill health and sadly died not long after. The photo looks like it was taken outside Sweeneys judging by the board in the background.

The 2nd photo today is another one taken in La Uva, and shows Jean with Garry & Wilma. The year on this one is 1994.
