Tony Batey's photos
These are the last of the photos which Tony gave me for the blog......they certainly got the comments coming in!When Tony gave me the photos he also gave a list of names and the bars where they were taken, but one name he just couldn't recall is the one to the right in the photo taken on the beach front...can anyone help out there?

New Photos - Old Friends !
Today we have 'new photos' of 'old friends' taken only last week.Billy Hayes has kindly sent these photos of him and his partner taken with Shuggie and his wife in Australia. Billy said that as he doesn't think Shuggie will make next years reunion in Lloret they went to Australia to have their own!
It was the first time they had met in 30yrs, and I'm sure they must have had a great time.

Im Piet from the Netherlands and im sending you some pics which were made in the Prince of Wales in 1980 i think, because i remember they played the song Geno from the Dexys Midnight Runners all the time,(geno was a hit in 1980)
On pic IMG 3 im standing on the right side of the pic with the great staff of the pub and on pic 001 im the second from the right.
Ive read on ur great site that Alan is still around in lloret and i dont know what happened to the rest.
Especially i would love to know the where abouts of the girl on the pic ( Irene), maybe someone can tell me more about her.
Hopefully u like the pics, its really old stuff anyway:))
Geez i havent seen these pics for nearly 30 years but after a few minutes i have "the good old times " feeling already:)).

Photos from Tony in Australia
Today I'm showing you more photos from Tony in Australia. The top one looks as though it could be taken in Lloret near the castle, but I'm not too sure though !Tony has labeled the 2nd one as 'Monkey nuts'... He told me that when they used to walk through the fields down to Fenals beach from their hotel they were walking through crops of monkey nuts, so I suppose this is the farmer.
Silly question...any one out there recognise him ???
Tony's last photo here shows what looks like local boys with their dog, possibly taken down near the Town Hall?
