A photo from Ann Van Erp
Ann has posted this photo to the 'Lloret de Mar Good Stuff' Facebook page and would like your help....
I found a golden oldie taken in 1982 in the Duke of York. Some of them I still visit each year, like Geoff and Gerry Marshall, Geoff and Helen Benthem, Ivan But I can't remember any of the others! Help me!

But have not been back since 78.

2 nice emails!
I've received 2 very nice emails today, both from girls who worked in Lloret and have photos which they will be sending for the site. The first one came from Diane who worked here in the 80s, do any of you remember Diane? Here is a copy of her email-
Hi Jackie
I don't think we know each other. I was in Lloret de Mar from 1983- 1986/7 and was married to Paul Seager who has recently sent some photos in of our days in Sweeney's.
I feel compelled to contact you and congratulate you on what a great site you run. I really appreciate being able to log in from time to time and see what new photo's and news have been posted. I love the reunion pics, it is good to see some old faces. Thanks for taking the time to run this wonderful site. It brings a smile to my face every time I log on.
I have loads of photos (thanks to Ramon). It would be easy for me to scan some to you, in batches, if you are interested.
As well as working at Sweeney's, I also worked for Stuart of Nicky Tams in Music the disco downstairs, I had a ball down there. I remember one night when the DJ who was Russell's brother (Russell of Village Inn) was acting a bit weird over the mic and it transpired he was naked behind the podium!! He was absolutely plastered and decided to give the punters a treat with a streak across the dance floor..... wild times! I also worked for Stuart in a bar he had with Joyce near Pedro's but I cannot for the life of me think if it's name. I worked for a short time in Mobys but I don't think I have any photos from there.
I have fantastic memories of my time in Lloret, may be one day I'll make a reunion?
Thanks again Jackie

The second email came from Liz who was here in 1973. It's nice to know there are still new people finding the Old Stuff and that there is still a lot more photos out there. Thanks to both for getting in touch.

Hi Jackie
Came upon your site by keying in pepe's ( making a photobook of our time there & travelling Europe afterwards) and found this site it's amazing seeing a couple of faces we knew when we both( my husband now) worked there in 1973 from April to September. John Swan from Captains Arms. Roy K. I'm Liz from Scotland worked in Mr Chips and Rosamar nightclub my husband Roy from Leicester in P.Ps and Coco's in the Rosamar hotel. There was wee Phil who nearly got his eye poked out at Coco's one night. That was the disco club with the big bird style cage for dancing in. Mick was there with Roy.Can send some photos if you like. Look forward to your reply if possible
Thanks
Liz
