Photos from Liz & Chris

Liz & Chris have recently come across the Old Stuff site after searching online for the El Relicario restaurant! They haven't been back to Lloret since 1976 and got in touch with me asking if I knew Hammy. To cut a long story short they are now here in Lloret for a few days and have met up with Hammy after 41 years!  They kindly brought a photo album for me to copy for the site...here are the first few of their photos.

1st - Young Hammy bottom right 1974.

2nd - 1974 Top bar of the Londoner, Liz, Angel & Dennis

3rd - Londoner workers, with Liz at the front with Miguel

4th - 1974

5th - Ronnie, Liz at the back & Antonio, Angel & Hammy at the front

A wedding in Lloret!

Many thanks to Janet for sending photos taken at her wedding in Barcelona back in 1970! The reception was held at the Captains Arms and it looks like it was a great day for not only the bride & groom but also the guests!
This is a copy of Janet's email which came with the photos...

Hi Jackie. Finally found these. I have a couple of others too.. i have to get them off my daughter. I hope ppl see themselves or remember the occasion..
We left the pub for Barcelona - girls in one Dormobile and boys in another -  we'd have to go back to work when we got back to The Captains Arms but we walked into an amazing surprise reception. Tony and Moyra had closed it to tourists just for us!

RIP Malachi.

So sad to hear yesterday that Malachi has passed away on Christmas morning, he was a very dear friend and one of Lloret de Mar's most well known  and much loved characters! Condolences to all Malachi's family, our thoughts are with you all at this very sad and difficult time. RIP xxx

A look back at some of the photos of Malachi that I've published on the Old Stuff page over the years...http://lloret-de-mar-old-stuff.blogspot.com.es/search?q=Malachi
