The Mini Bar was run by Chris (sadly no longer with us) and Gill. They are nearest to the bar with their daughter Nicola on Gills knee.
Opposite them in the suit is Tony (Tina & Tony)
At the back in the centre, I have been told is Rona ? and to her right is Alan Hagger again...was he in every photo taken ???
And the others...does anyone know ?

I think Gill is getting too much exposure- and it is amazing how much Claudia (Nicola's daughter) looks just like Nicola did at that age. They look identical:O
I was looking through the photos you have on the website and can identify nearly all of those on the one from the Mini-Bar. They are as follows : -
Next to Gill, Tommy Thompson from London who was a very regular visitor to Lloret. He passed away some years ago but was very well known here in the 70´s and early 80´s. On his left is Tina, Tony´s wife. Behind Tommy is Rex who lived here and used to do much of the carpentry work around the bars in town ( again now departed ). Next to Tina is Roger who, once again, was a regular visitor to Lloret in the 70´s and 80´s and was for a while the boyfriend of Rona. Thnk the two at the front are just tourists.
I shall look- out any photos of interest I might have and send you copies. Congrats on an interesting site !

Hey There!!! I cannot believe I have stumbled onto this site, I worked for Chris & Gill in 1980 in the Mini Bar .... it was a year I will never forget and a year that made me who I am.. WOW deep eh!! any idea where I can get pics of that time?

Went to lloret after 40 yes on a memory trip i used to in mini bar was only 15 with my dad .i remember Chris did he have a place in Gravesend sure I visited .I worked at the can pruna back in the day. Any photo of outside mini bar ? Think its a HSE now.
I don't think there are any photos on the site taken outside the Mini Bar, but there are few more taken inside. If you scroll down the page you will find a link for the Mini Bar in the list of 'Featured Bars'
Sure it had a bit of rock sticking out the wall. Saw an empty unit up the hill I think was the bar.
Hi Jackie, Kay here, I was reading this post and saw that one of our crowd seems to have come from Gravesend ?? thats where im from, im not sure if i know the chap thats talking about it and as you know I was married and had my son by 1980 but would be nice to know what bar he had in Gravesend. (sorry think im waffling) lol xx

Hello Kay, if I'm reading the comment right it sounds as though they are talking about Chris who had the Mini Bar and also the Cutty Sark. I'm sure you must know him and also Gill his wife who was working in the Barretina for Fiona before it closed, but if you mean the actual person who has left the comment then I don't know who it is as they haven't left a name. No way of tracing them either unless they maybe see this and hopefully tell us more details of who they are.....and no your not waffling Kay!! :-)
