This photo from the Laurel & Hardy Bar was kindly given to me by Ann (ex Tea Shop) along with a few of the names - At the front in grey is Julie, in the black top is Jackie behind her is 'Sooty'To the middle of the photo in the black & white T-shirt is Ian.
Wearing the red top on the right is Janice, then stood behind her is Kath.
Another interesting point is the menu board - looks like the 'special of the day' meal with mashed potato was only 150 pts!

the guy in the doorway next to the girl in the yellow top is Tony Ginley he was living in Den Bosch in the 90s. He married a dutch girl Mikey, who Stevie used to see from Buzzby's. I went to the wedding along with Askey, Ricky Hoy, Bobby Brookes and a few old heads from lloret, cannot remember exactly who else came.

Just found this site. Did my first holiday too Lloret at age 19 in late aug/early sept 1982. We went in laurel and hardy every night it was a brilliant pub. I got thrown out for being too drunk but the owner just told me to come back tomorrow. There was 2 guys on every night playing guitar and singing, the whole pub joined in it was an awesome atmosphere.. In the afternoons we would come up from the beach and they showed films in the pub, we watched E.T which was just out and drank beer that was unbelievably cheap. Always tipped the bar and they ran a bell and shouted ‘bote for the boys”
The bar next door was German and had a disco in the back which was also great. Londener was another our favs for later into the night.
