I worked in Nicky Tams Tavern from 84 for 3 years, the best time of my life, I made so many close friends and value the time I spent with them. I have managed to find some of the guys and been in touch now and again, some unfortunately have now passed away.
Here are some of the photo’s I have, when I get down to it, I’m sure I can dig out others, these were all taken by the “great Ramon” I worked with wee Stu, Derek, Steve and Micky ( I hear he has now passed away?) Those are just a few of the rouges, I knew. Angus and Davey Sinclair have been in touch and it’s funny how things have settled and we now get on with our own things.
The Nicky Tams photo was taken about 86/87. Starting at the very back was Paco (Harpo), Derek, Andy, Steve Brown, Wee Stu, Dale and Mick (RIP), with myself at the front (The Scottish W*nker!!)
The other photos were from the Rob Roy, next door, the only guy I remember was Ian, he’s the one sticking his tongue in my ear.''

a little info for you Ray, Stevie is still in Lloret and so is Derek. I was in Lloret for a night last Thursday and I asked if Stevie was still around. I last saw him 3 years ago in the Texas. Derek, works for the Londoner, his wife Judy told me last Friday he was painting Jeff's house.
last I heard, Ian from the Rob Roy photo was a policeman.
The lad in the orange shirt is Steph, Maureens (MRS T) brother saw her in lloret in August and she said he was doing well in the Scottish leagues as a referee.

Guy in Orange Rabbie Burns shirt is Steph McGeoch. Had a sister called Maureen who worked in kitchen in Churchills . Great guy and I had the pleasure of working in Rabbies with him . Max
hi Maggie, its not Emilio, I worked with him and I? am 100% its not him. I called him on him last Friday morning and told him about this site. He looked well and he is going to Scotland in Feb to Dunblane.

I spent a week in lloret on a Club 18-30 holiday in 1987, first holiday broad on my own and i had the time of my life, so many great memories. i spent most of my time in Nicky Tams when i was awake !. I remember a bleached blonde man behind the bar with a green mohican wig who was huge, and would lift the couldron up on the bar and shout out for the boys, this thing was almost filled to the top and really heavy. there was also a photo on the wall of him with geoff capes sitting on his shoulders, i was hopeing someone would know his name and know what happened to him.
his name is kevin bonner ,was num 3 in the world power lifter now lives in hull,has his own gym in hull.from stewart his ex boss and friend from nicky tams ,still in lloret ,at hommers bar

I remember Steph, he worked with us in the sportsmans for a short time, and the guy in the middle on the windowsill im sure was called billy, we got on well and i ended up working with him in Harrods/Rockys Funny as hell.

I worked as the DJ in laurel and hardy's in 1986 my boss was Tommy.Jimmy Rockefeller owned our bar but I had friends in Nicky tams.im sure my pal was called Ian who worked in Nicky tams he was a great laugh and a great guy.happy days.can anyone remember Colin and his wife who worked at laurel and hardy's?I believe they were from Coventry?such good times with them.Laurel and hardy's was my first bar I Djd in and I carried on working as a dj till I turned 50.i remember spending hours watching Only fools and horses on the TVs inside during the day and waiting for each club 18 to 30 party to come in on a night.also enjoyed our flaming bar shots.just seems like yesterday big shout out if you remember me.Geordie Mark Dj
