Rabbie Burns

Going back to the Rabbie Burns in1971 for these two, thanks to John McSwan for the loan of these photos. He told me a story about someone in one of these photos, they married someone who was very famous at the time - does anyone else know the story?

Jordi, Do you mean the one at the very front with the wide belt on? if so then..no, its not Johns wife...but she is the one who I asked the question about, she married some-one famous.

i give in jackie, did she marry a footballer? scottish or dutch? tell john he got me although it was slightly before my time. could you ask john if he remembers getting steaming in fenals to celebrate the birth of prince william. that was with me and i was sick as a dog. does he remember? whats my name? jordi

I'll ask John next time I see him if he remembers your celebration. Getting steaming in Fenals for the birth of Prince William! What sort of an excuse is that ???
Does he really need one?

the girl with the wide belt is June Robinson, she lived with /married the road manager with the band YES, I have never heard of the stray cats, so that cannot be the name of the band..June moved to LA, but this info is going back to the 70,s.....lol

Jackie, the upper photo was our first year in lloret. It s me in the rear, second right. The girls next to john is gerd s sister and a friend of her. Gerd is in the left middle grasping his head. Next to Gerd a german guy. Hans is in the left front, lying and the others were from Scotland, Kilmacolm I think x
