The bottom photo is 1975 - Big Henry, a friend of mine from home (Julie) George Stewart and me.
It was of course taken in the Moby
Pat, Ernie was from Lincoln originally and he left Lloret without telling anyone I think

The guy with his arm round albie's neck is john mcgregor
anyone remember Ally McCloed(GLASGOW)went to south africa with harry du val where is he now ?
I think you might be right, it does look like john. I don't know why I though it was some footballer. I still havn't worked out wh anonymous is though, are you going to give me a clue?
hiya anonymous. how do you know harry duvall? he was a good mate in 1975. he ran the garden gnomes at the moby. jordi.
only knew harry through others in lloret
Colin McVie, apparently he is in real bad shape after some guys have him a heavy going over in a pub toilet in London. Colin was a quiet easy going kinda guy and did nothing to deserve this. Wrong place ,wrong time, wrong bad guys.
was'nt that about 10 years ago or has it happened again
Oh you could be right John, I just heard lately and thought it was a recent occurrence.

Well I must know you if you worked for Watson although Albie and I had long since left Lloret when you were there, we were over all the time. We always stopped with Steve and Claire and i still go over and stop with tony and was at Shawn's wedding last year. Steve looks at the site, although the lazy devil hasn't registered yet and he has now joined facebook!
I,m Limpy dan ,a nice wee man
at prop I am the master.
came to Llorett wae a broken leg.
and limped about in plaster.
(in case the big Steve fella does check in)!! ;)
where did you get your stooky cut aff danny? george.
If I remember, he did it himself on the day of the three legged pub crawl, am I right Limpy, I think you partnered our Diane and it was holding you up
You have got some memory Jill,. I did partner Diane in the 3 legged race, I had cut the stookie off a couple of days previous to that, cos after me and Davie Murphy went for a swim it became all soggy. (The stookie I,m talking about).Oh and it was Diane that was holding me up.., not the gammy leg.
Oops, I meant literally HOLDING me up, not slowing me down..., just thought I'd get that sorted before I become some kinda misunderstood guy!!
Can you believe it, our Diane still has the sponsor form x
I,m Steve the boss, a silly scouse
I just can't last the pace.
2 san migs and a nippy sweet
I think i own the place!!
(excerpts from 'the corner inn poem '77).
I knew Steve and Claire Watson in Liverpool! How are you doing Steve?
Anon, Steve is still in Lloret and is on f/b although he doesn't use it very often, he has not commented on this site, so far as I am aware. Sadly Claire passed away some 9 years ago now, ten this year. Do you remember Claire's brother Tony, cos he lives in the same town as me. You didn't put your name on your post so I don't know who I am talking to. Their Son, shawn (who lives in Norway now) and his wife have just had their 3rd child and their Daughter Toni, lives in Lloret with her husband their son.
Thanks for the info, Jill. Claire's mum told me the sad news on one of my trips to Liverpool. I was shocked, wish I had kept in touch with her. I lived around the corner from her. I remember her brother and two sisters. My name is Anne, but I log in as California. I moved to the US in 1972.
Ann, I will tell Tony the next time I see him, which will be soon. Him and Hazel have just got their first grandaughter, a couple of months ago now, they are over the moon.
Thanks, Jill. I doubt if Tony will remember me as it has been about 40 years! I worked with Claire at the Chequers Club in Liverpool - good times! I wonder what happened to Steve's best mate Wally Green? We used to have some great parties at his place in Anfield Road.
Well Wally is Imelda Jackson's brother and I am still in touch with her, she is also a friend on my f/b. I will ask her about Wally. What is your last name so that I can tell her? Last I heard Wally was fine.
Well, Jill, what a small world this is! My last name (maiden) is Crawford. It was the late 60's - around 1969-70 I knew Wally. Thanks!
Wow! 2011 was my last comment. I guess Wally didn't remember me after all! Oh well, such is life.
