RIP Gerry..

I have a few more photos of Gerry, a very good friend who we all lost last night. He is now once again with Julie, who he missed terribly after her sudden death. We all send our condolences to Simon and all other members of the family.

A few of you have already sent in your condolences, and have said what fond memories you have. Gerry loved to go watch Lloret FC with all the 'Hooligans' at home and away whenever worked permitted. He also was a Barcelona fan and liked to go to the local Bowling alley...even though his style was likened to a ballerina!

Many thanks to Angie for sending these great photos of just a few of the happier times in Gerry's life.

Yes I realised it was Poppy, I thought you would like it included. Angie sent it through, she must have been there also.

I don't know if many people know this, but before Gerry went to Lloret he worked for the Army Kinema Corporation and was posted to Aden during the troubles there in the late 60s. He had to get TVs, projectors and the like into and out of the military bases for the troops.

He actually risked his life on a daily basis doing this job- not only was he a very nice man he was also extremely brave.

May he Rest in Peace.
