This is a photo I received today from Steve who comes from Germany, he is wanting to know if a re-union is being planned in Lloret this year. I have seen on the Message Board that some of you have been talking about a possible re-union. If there are any definate plans let me know any details and I'll write a piece about it if you like.This is the email which came with Steve's photo....

i enjoyed your website today about the "Lloret de Mar Old Stuff" and got excited when seeing photos of shuggy, desy, ginger joe, colin, linda and and...
i was part of a quite well known german bunch (gerd, mano, ...) and went to lloret from 1971 - 1979 on vacations and 1977 we spent 2 1/2 months there. as i was a student, it was possible in the semesters breaks.
so i added a photo (shoud be from september 1977) with rather bad quality and my former friends. you will see me in the right back with fair hair between colin
and walter coutts the indian, on the left you see gerd. also john mackenzie's head is viewable in the middle. in the same year gerd and i
travelled to schotland for the new year 1977/8 and stayed in colin's home - of couse we were in the houff!
if there is a reunion meeting planned, please give me a short mail and i would see, if i can join it. i'm working in the computer
business writing programs, and so a time off is not always possible.
i would like to hear from you ...

my god thats a young Colin.What ever happened to Walter? The last i heard he got arested half way up a cliff looking at some birds feathers(the wing type)
I remember you Steve and gurd has been over to stay with us with his family when he came over to see Linda and Michael. It was a few years ago now but he does ring from time to time out of the blue. I heard he was working in Dubai at the moment, is that still the case

that year i was not with gerd - when was it? we must know each other from former years, as i was in lloret from 1971-1979 and once in scotland in 1977/78. if you have an (old) photo, please send me one to "eaglestone@web.de". some people also told me, that gerd is in dubai, but i havn't seen him for some years.
I am sorry my reply was not clear, I meant that I remember you from Lloret. I meant that Gurd and his family had come over to Doncaster to stay with us, not that you had come too. I am on quite a few of the photos already, I was married to Albie. Hope you are keeping well. Do you know Hans too?
oh, thats clear then. hans was with us the first years - you can see us together in the pics of "rabbies" and "captains arms". in the "rabbies" pic he is in front and i'm in the back. he runs a pub in recklinghausen and he runs it very well, but as i work abroad in frankfurt and only come home for the weekend, i don't see him too often. i live in herten (very near to recklinghausen), which is the german partnership town of doncaster :)
I was there in July 1977, met this fantastic Irish girl, Jenny. Got engaged but sadly didn't last. Me in London and Jenny on Dublin, no cheap Ryanair flights or mobile phones. We tried hard but not to be.
