Gerrys Garden

I have received 2 photos from Chris today, the 1st one published today is taken in Gerry's garden, how many of you recognise the faces here ?

This is Chris's email .....

Dear Jackie,

By chance last night I saw your web site and was blown away by all the wonderful pictures you've got together over the last couple of years.

My name is Chris Hellens, I worked at Topo T Top as a DJ from 1976 - 1979

My managers in 1976 were Lenny Merson and Cyril Sheehan who still works at the Zoo in Lloret.

I would be grateful if you get any correspondence or photo's of the Topo's boys, please pass them on.

Sorry to here about Gerry.

Great times sadly missed.

Very best regards,

Chris Hellens

The bloke with the beard is Johnnie Burke, he used to work in Tramps i think. The west indian lad used to work in the Revolution, when John McSwan ran the place.Could be wrong but i think his name was Lloyd.

I am in the yellow shirt 3rd row John from Preston.I was DJ for a while at the Revolution with LLoyd. I remember thurs was english night and the reps shipped about 500 people from all the hotels.Mid May all these Punks arrived we thought they were in fancy dress asking for the pistols I had never heard of them we were always well behind no sky or internet or mobiles in 1977. Were playing Rod and Brian Ferry I thought they were going to wreck the place Glad LLoyd was there. Happy Days.
