Thanks to Ian Anderson for sending these photos, taken in the Highlander beer garden whilst listening to a Scotland v England match on the radio.....no Sky TV in those days! Ian worked in Lloret from 1974 - 85.
Didnt they have football tops in them days ... One of the best days of the Season was the England V Scotland and Rangers V Celtic Good Fun and Good Humour all round town
What a year,, Tommy Spalding, Derek(McGroovy)Wingate, myself & a Dutch girl called Marianne, who worked in that little dutch restaurant lived in a big house, with about 4 floors right on the beach. We had the Scottish flag flying from the roof and called it the Castle(as in Edinburgh)Eaddie Stewart & Danny(Blocker)Beattie, both in the photos eventually moved in with us,,,,What memories, What memories
