Highlander and Seven Seas Pub ???

The top 2 photos today come from John McGregor am I right in saying they are both taken in the same bar?
The Highlander which later became the Seven Seas....


The bottom photo needs no explanation.....only that I added the text.

Jackie or anyone else,2 people in the bar asking about an old bodega in Lloret where the guy used to make his own Cherry Brandy approx 1974,anyone know the name,maybe it's still there.

Oooops! Sorry to both Johns for the slip up, thanks for that Linda. I said 'hello' to Stevie for you, it was quite busy in there last night...but still not busy enough! New furniture on the terrace now...)see the bottom photo on www.lloret-de-mar-stuff.com) Its looking well.
Hopefully it may tempt a few punters in!

I remember the bodega next door to the old Calamic used to sell their own homemade spirits and liquers. Can't remember what it was called - we used to call it the light ale shop. Same little street as Gary Coopers ( the 4 seasons)

Yes it was called Cana (with the little squiggle over the n )it was real loopy juice, and just another in a long list of what is supposed to send young men blind! lol

The bar John mentioned round the back from the White Horse was called the Can Tut, really small place, only sold Graffa, had some bad hangovers after a few in there ! Think it was only the workers that used to go in, dont ever remember any punters going in !!
