Gary Thompson's photo.

 Many thanks to Gary who sent this photo taken in the OK Corral  back in 1974...he has not been back to Lloret since, so he certainly wont recognise the place when he comes again in August!
Read Gary's email below......


"please find enclosed a photo of the ok coral from 1974 this was my first visit to lloret at the age of 14, we stopped at the rossamar park hotet, the cost of £49 pp for 2 weeks, me & my wife are going back to stay in lloert at the end of august this will be first time i have returned to lloret in 36 years, im sure things will have changed now".

Gary .. Do you remember Gas meter Peter he is still there. Part of the furniture .. you can reminicce ( spelt wrong ) And Peter could do a guided tour ( The History of Lloret Bars ) And Pepe might call in too ... Enjoy mate ..

And am I mistaken .. Is that Ricky Bennett sitting on the Ladies lap .. And he has a bar in Blanes now well worth a visit .. He has grown up now

the Guy at the front (tash) is Walter Coutts friend from Aberdeen..can't remember his name..Had a Dutch girlfriend

the i front left is dirk thompson, the one behind the tash is ray thompson, the 2 behind him came from wakefield & the 2 women 3rd left also came from wakefield & were 2 nurses, the bloke in front with the tash worked at the bar.if anyone can shed any light on these anyone in the photo please do so.

Hi Gary, the guy with the Tash at the front ,his name was Jake..yea he was from Aberdeen ..Did you ever go to the Captains Arms or the Rabbie Burns where Walter the Indian worked..walter always wore a Kilt with Indian feathers in his hair,,He was Jakes good friend..

guy with the tash is Jake Constable,he went to Holland in '75.Alan Hyland worked in the Rabbies
in '74.Alan might still be lecturing in Religous
Studies in Auld Reekie.I worked for a short spell in the O.K.walked in one night to start my shift, and the barman said,has nobody told you Phil? you,ve been sacked.good old Jimmy.
