Thanks to Norman for these photos which he sent all the way from Australia. He also sent some very interesting pages from the Lloret Scene magazine, which gives a good example of how cheap the drinks used to be!
1] Isobel and two girls who came to Lloret looking for work, unfortunately I cannot remember their names, perhaps someone can?
2] Isobels sister, her name is Mercedes and her friend I think was called Angel?

The cheapest drink I´ve seen was in a photo from 1964,in the background was a sign,Martini and Lemonade,4ptas,remember Farious Cigars at 5ptas each.

Looks like her.. she was Scottish and worked in the pub behind the Texas, was it the plough ? Wasn't Isobel the spanish lady that had Isadoras (Broadway ) The Mariners and Moef Ga Ga? She had a sister called Mercedes I'm sure.
yes thats liz the other one is jackie ,still in lloret works in a shop now has done for years,married a spaniard and has a daughter must be about 30yrs old now.the daughter that is.
Joe,ginger bob got renamed silver fox I think for obvious reasons,not sure if he´s still about in Lloret.
john someone must know if the silver fox (ginger bob)is still there ?...ricky or andy will know.

No, Bob is not in Lloret now. Not sure how long it is since he left, maybe about 7-8yrs ago. If what I've heard is correct he's in Gillingham Kent

Ginger Bob is from Gillingham,we always had a bet on Millwall v Gillinham,a beer on a game and a mil who would finish highest in the league.he owe´s 10 beers and 10 mil,lol.
bob went back after that place he worked next to Bumpers got taken over,he lost his job,and his marbles.
