Back to about 1969 -70 with these two black / white photos from Sue. Sue's ex husband Jim Vale is in the top photo (with his arms folded) Other than that I've no idea who the others are, can anyone else add any names. The bottom photo is outside the Istanbul Club which we have seen on many previous photos. The doorway is still there ( below the Esmeralda Hotel) but is now blocked and no longer used. I often wonder whats behind the doors of the old pubs and clubs in Lloret that have been closed for years, I bet all the fixtures & fittings are still there in many of them...... What a spooky excursion that would be looking around them all !

In the top photo I recognise Terry Edmonds , Terry Williams and one of the Hubbard brothers.
Remember most of them in the 1st photo but cant put names to all of them. top row 2nd from the left is terry williams next to him is scottish jessie worked in the istanbul and topo's one of my ex's,ha ha.Far right at the back is roy.The one in the middle with his arm round the one at the front worked in the western saloon 1970,remember him from when we first went on holiday cant remember his name as julie said terry edmunds next to him

That would be a great excursion Jackie going around the old clubs and bars that have not been open for years oh memories !!
would love to go round all the apartments and pensions we used to live in aswell, that would be great !

Hola from Jim Vale,The bottom photo shows the end of the fantastic fancy dress closing night of The Istanbul Disco 1969.All are season workers in the photo-all the other clubs and bars closed early so their staff could be there.Ricky from the White Horse turned up 'blacked'in a 'black and white minstrels'outfit!How long had that been in his suitcase?!
