sadly claire passed away some years ago, steve is still in lloret although have heard the sportsman has closed down for good now ?

just came across this blog I was in lloret in the 70s met steve and claire watson, nice couple, and claire was a lovely person, so sorry to hear she had died, she was not old it was a shock
Was looking for people that I knew in warrington and came across a pic of the bar
cardany and saw steve Jones in the purple velvet suit (nice one steve) who was a drinking pal in warrington at the hamlet, dog and dart and lots of other watering holes.
Also remember Eric Allen and his 2 younger brothers I was at evelyn street school with.
What a time never will be done again.I was in the merchant navy for 10 years and always called in the hamlet when I got home. Good memories hello to everyone that remembers me
