Jackie. Colins cabin and Colins cottage were two different places, not cabin/cottage. The cabin was a greasy spoon down by the prince of wales, down a little street by the palm trees. The cottage was bar ritas then stones bar, up by the sportsman
Yes I know they were, but the box of photos Colin has let me use are from both places and are all mixed up so I'm naming them under that heading....just saves me time sorting them all.
The Cabin wasn't a greasey spoon! we served up some good cheap grub, pies that Justin made and when I was there, we kept it nice and clean, which was from the year Colin first opened it in 1982 to end of season 1986. Before that it was The Birmingham fish & Chip Shop. Now that was Greasey.......
The Cabin was definitely open in 1981 I used to eat there most days and yes Dianne the food was very good a different special every day-- very good value for money the place was always so clean
