Who's the young lady taking it easy on the bar? 

One thing I've noticed about the photos from the 50s and 60s is that everyone always looked very smartly dressed back then... no one sitting around the bars in the their beachwear!

Thanks to those who came to the reunion in Lloret this week end and brought photos for the 'Old Stuff' its kept me very busy scanning and editing them all over the weekend, but all done now and here are the first few! These are from David and go back to the early 70s, I wonder if anyone can recognise any of these people!!

But who are 2nd and 3rd from the right in the next one?

I've just received a photo of a place I've not heard of before, I wonder if anyone else remembers it? Thanks to Trevor for this photo of 'The Gypsy Cave' (La Cueva Gitana) which was established in 1966 opposite El Relicario and the first British owned discotheque in Lloret. Trevor was the manager assisted by Geoff Lindsey and Andy Foster.

Thanks to Tony for todays photos which he has given the description as 'quiet afternoons in Rabbies'!! In the first photo from 1974 are Bobby, Danny, Walter, Neil Gowry in the centre and Glady's front left...(thanks to Hammy for the names). The 2nd one is from 1972....no names sorry.

Lloret de Mar then and now

Two photos from Llorets official web site showing the Fiesta of Santa Cristina taking place in the church square, the approximate year is 1905-1915. The second picture of the same view taken in 2010, apart from the trees it is still very much the same!

Early 60's beach
