I've already received the first photos of this year they were kindly sent in by David who has just discovered the site and worked in the White Horse and Red Barrel in 1969. He is the one on the left in the 1st picture and dressed as a pirate in the 2nd.
Hi Jackie, this pic myself Pirate, Josie & Ted ( front owner White Horse & Londoner) Ricki ( Al Johnson) Tony Carroll is just behind Josie to the right, have been told he has passed away but have not been able to confirm he had moved to Ozz, the one with glasses in centre is George Connolly ( scouser there for a few years ) not sure about the guy with dickie bow is that Edgar ( owner of La Cala) ?

Jackie,In the bottom photo that is indeed a photo of a young Ted Lauw,and his wife Josie.Ted,of The Moby Dick and Burger King fame,when he had two small pubs,The Wimpey(later West Coast),and The White Horse.I worked with Tony Carroll in the Western Saloon in 1971 - nice guy. Jim
