Gas Meter's 60th
Just for those who haven't yet seen Gas Meters birthday pics on Facebook from Linda and Maureen. Linda has asked me to put them all on the Old Stuff, so rather than get them mixed in with the older pics I've put them on a page of their own. Find the link just above the large sign for the reunion pics above....let me know if I've missed any!

Photos from Chris Blanksby
Thanks to Chris for sending theses 2 pics from 1975 and also the nice comments about the 'Old Stuff'.....
This is the email from Chris......
Nice blog – great to relive the old days in Lloret.
I have attached a couple of photos from 1975 one is at the Londoner with and one is at a crazy BBQ night.
Front row left to right at the Londoner is Kevin “Fred” Furniss – John Batty – Chris Machin –Ian Shaw ---- Back row left to right – Chris Blanksby (Me) Graeme (Gram) Rawson all from Sheffield.
The holiday in September 1975 was possibly the craziest and best holidays of my life. I have so many memories of this holiday but the most lasting memory is that I never stopped laughing from the minute we got on the plane at East Midlands to the minute we got home again.
One vivid memory is the conga that we created in one of the bars (may have been the Londoner) that ran all the way across the bar and out into the street and into the bar across the street which basically cleared the pub much to the disgust of the bar owners. I think we got chased down the road for that one – nearly killed myself laughing.
Anyway thanks for bringing back the happy days of my youth.
