Canyelles Banner

I have recently had this image sent by an unknown fan of the 'Old Stuff' it looks like some sort of propaganda banner featuring an image of Canyelles Beach, I've no idea of the date...maybe 1960s, I did a bit of editing to the shape as the border was a bit tatty, it looks quite good now even though I do say it myself! 

Is there one for Lloret beach anywhere out there?

Annette and I have been in contact quite a lot just recently, she was a good friend of Hammy's a few years ago and after seeing photos from his 50th birthday on the site she got in touch. She has some photos which she wanted Hammy to 'ok' before we published them. We had a bit of a laugh in Rabbie's yesterday with us sending messages back and forward between Hammy and Annette.
I wish you could have seen his face Annette he was looking very pleased with him self!

We havent had any photos from Mariano for a while as he has been on holiday but now he is back and has sent these pics for us. Mariano lives in the Aragon region where he says "It is like living in hell this August is 43º through the day and 30º at night and nobody can sleep"

I must say we havent had those sort of temperatures in Lloret this August but it must go down as one of the hottest on record!

"Discovered your 'old stuff' site recently. Was in Lloret for four summers from 1970. Worked a couple of seasons, one year partly at PP's and Tempo, another all summer at New Cortijo and was a 'dosser' for the last two seasons.

Was in Palamos and Llafranc last month saw the signs to Lloret but resisted the urge, too many years have passed"

Thanks to Caroline for sending her photos today - here are the first few, she hasn't included any info with them so maybe someone out there can tell us where and when they were taken and I'm sure that a few of you will recognise yourselves!

I think this is Caroline in the green jumper as she is in most of the photo's.
