Where was the cerdanya again.., and what was the event?
To me it looks like Paris Square?? possibly the building which is now 'Schlecker' sells toiletries etc.
the event was a sort of rock jam when loads of the musicians all got together and had a kind of festival the cerdanya was trying to emulate the one the londoner had the year before or earlier that year but wasn't as good anyone who was at the londoner one will tell you what a brilliant day it was

Yep Cerdanya was in Paris square, run by Robin. I think this must be from 77 cos I am sure I recognise Limpy in there, Eileen (Foto Lloses) and little Murphy. Unfortunately, my eyesight is not what it once was and I am struggling to focus on the others. Sooty has got millions of photos, i looked through them all when I was in Palma a couple of months ago. Hope she brought them all over with her Jacky I told her to x
Looks like I,m in there right enough..., though i don't remember the 'event.

If you had asked me last week Agnes I would have said brill but at the moment I have hurt my back and am in agony, must keep taking the tablets. I am looking forward to going to lloret on 29th July for a fix lol. I can't wait to have a break from work, it is driving me mad at the moment. Hope you are OK

Someone mentioned the Londoner event, now that i DO remember..., who could forget Tommy Potter bringing the donkey into the bar with a rather large appendage almost sweeping the floor? That was some do altogether, (Musically), but sadly that(the donkey incident)! is what sticks out in my mind about that crazy, marvelous day .
That.., and Berto being pissed off cos he didn't get to sing. (He almost fell out with 'the puff' over it!! :D
The year was probably 1978, I recognise 'Big Dave'on the far right of the photo with the blue top who was in the resident band in Paddy's Bar about this time, he was a friend of Robins and also of Justin Dee who did a drag act in the Cerdanya.
Hi ya Gary your bang on big dave was the bass player and up the top next to Robin in the hat is the lead guitarist Malcom rabbit who was in the band at paddy's bar, next to Big Dave is malcom's Dad in the blue shirt,just behind limpie is rick he and his brother in law sang as a duo {red lion} and cerdanya i think? were brill,guy next to girl with limpie is karen sister great singers next to her i think is pip,worked in the Prince.Albie in the midle? with the beard i am just in front of Jeff singer in the white jumper..How's Willma Gary...cheeeeeeeeeeeers Peteguitar..

Dont know how I missed Malcom Rabbit, we and also other workers lived in the Mimosa Pension which was run by a womon called Montsy, the pension sort of backed onto the street where the Cerdanya was, his dad also came down and stayed there.
