Sooty's Photos

These are the last of Sooty's photos which Diane kindly sent through on her behalf. The first one showing Roger and John. John has now retired but Roger can still be found slaving away with the scissors!
The next photo, Diane is pictured alongside Chandrah (don't know how to spell his name?) the last I heard he had gone back to Mauritius.

2nd pic,Chandra made a mean curry,does anyone remember Mary Jane his wife or at least I think they where married,she was american.She loved Frank Sinatra so we would play his tunes while cleaning the Laurel in the mornings,she could here the music because the Laurel was only 2 steps across the street.She past away in 79,she never got over loosing her son,he 21 when he died,Diane,Sooty and Eileen Rockefeller would remember her.

yeah john i remember her had some fantastic curries in chandras place can't remember the name of it ( the place ) but never did eat a whole meal there it was just too much

hi John i remember Mary Jane she was a lovey lady she was from Cherry Hill New Jussey just out side New York, and think she past away 80/81 God bless herib remember right her son waw a New York police offier who got killed on duty?

Lovely seeing a pic of Roger and John again, I used to have my hair cut by them in the early 70's. Hope they are keeping well.....Chris (Captains Cabin and Robin Hood)

Remember Chandra and his wife May Jane, used to go round to Eileen and Jimmy's apartment on a sunday afternoon, loads of us when they lived somewhere up near El Rics, Chandra and May Jane used to bring loads of Indian food and we all used to bring a bottle of vino, good times
