Well, well Dear Ernie, I lived above Ernie in Calle De Las Cabras No 20, it was above an electrical shop he was Managing the (Polynesian Bar) and sharing with Jimmy (Sparrow Moby Dick), Chris (Londoner) and we were upstairs that was Ivor (Duke of York manager), Ivan (Londoner) and I was looking to get started in Lloret it took some time but eventually I got a position with Thomson Holidays and they shipped me all around the world Greece 10 years, Israel, Maderia and sadly I lost touch but will never forget the experience of living with those 6 guys ???? (and the maids face every week when she saw the pile of washing up)opposite lived Malachi who was the best coach guide I ever had the pleasure to meet anywhere in my travels around the world, it was also the year 3 girls from London bought the Captains Arms (another story!) I eventually bought a place outside Malaga and as I drove to Greece every year used to look in at lloret just to have a chicken in El Relicario (best secret in Lloret).
Does anyone know what happened to any of the Gang!
Kindest regards David

Hi David
Happy new year!
Would you believe that Malachi is still here and probably living in the same apartment, and yes, l've also heard it said that he was the best tour guide on the Costa Brava if not the world, and El Relicario is still going strong!

Ernie and Lynne were living in Lincoln the last time I saw them, I think Ernie was taxi driving but I am not sure, the memory is playing tricks ha ha. Chris Stanley is in Majorca now, he and Terri split up many years ago and she returned to Bristol. Ivan sadly is no longer with us.

Thanks Jill for the update, sad news re; Ivan hope he didn't suffer. My memory plaid tricks as I now remember the 3rd Chap in the flat was RON (Londoner) not Ivor, getting old is a bugger!!

The chef that was in The El Relicario for years, Paco, eventually came back to Malaga to his hometown San Julian, and opened his own restaurant, he built a lovely big rustic looking restaurant near the original one, but sadly passed away the day before the oficial opening, but its still up and running as he passed on the recipe for the delicious chicken that makes the El Ric so popular.

Hi Jill, WOW, You seem to have your finger on the pulse, as they say, wonder if this is the same Ronnie with the curly head of hair that lived with us? and any news on Jimmy (manager moby dick) small scots guy with nick name "Sparrow", full of fun.
Jill were you a friend of Lynn? I remember there was a girl she was friends with and went around with a lot?.
