 Thanks to Melanie who worked in the White Horse with Alan, Cosy and Robert in 1984...in the first photo are Melanie and her friend Gez who she came to Lloret with. Does anyone know where her friends Alan & Cosy are these days or their surnames?

I've received two photos from Nel from 1972-73.
Nel has given me names of some of those in the pics....
Joe, Keith, Mick, Mel and Bob, third on the left in both photos is Derek (McGroovy) Wingate who has been mentioned on the site quite a few times.....does anyone know where Derek is these days?

 Here we have a few of Auntie Jeans photos from the late 80s, in the top photo are Russell & Andy with Jean at El Relicario. In the 2nd photo is Chick & Andy,  not sure where it was taken but looking at the board could it be Sweeney Todds?

 In the photo below are Mary, Frank and Jean in the White Horse, then in the last photo are Annie, Jean and Debbie.

He has put together a set of collages from what must be a massive collection of his photos from the years he was working for Foto Llosses. In the above photo of the bars we can see how the bars look today, with the exception of the White Horse which has sadly remained closed all year.

I dont think this is one of Mariano's !!

"I worked at both Moby Dicks and The Pink Panther during different seasons from 1974 to 76, it’s been a really nice trip for me down memory lane to see so many of the old workers I once called my friends some of which as the season came to an end we would then travel down to Grand Canaria and hang out at the Guantanamo campground at a beach called La Playa de Touro"

Just look at the the price of the meal in the above photo 95pts!!

After all the bars and cafes in Lloret that used to do Sunday lunch or a typical cooked breakfast, just now its very hard to find a place where you can get such a meal.... In fact just now you cant, everywhere is shut.
The White Horse and Bravehearts have sadly closed down and even El Torito which hasn't closed for years are having a long winter break. There wont be many bars left soon!

Eddie'sphotos

We go back to somewhere around about the mid 70s with a couple of pics from Eddie today.
The bottom one shows Eddie in the centre of the picture and the top one was taken outside the White Horse...
Sadly the White Horse has now closed just before Christmas after Haken & Cathrine who have run the bar for the last 6-7 yrs or so have decided to move further down the coast of Spain to try their luck with another bar.
