Sooty's Photos
We go back to Sooty's photos for today's pick of the Old Stuff.
Just for the next few weeks I'm on holiday in Southern Spain, so I may be asking for 1 or 2 photos from readers of the blog, as I don't have access to the full collection I have in stock.
I did fetch a few of your photos with me on a memory stick but these are the larger collections such as Jeans, Sooty's and Rogers. So apologies if the photos seem to be coming from the same people this is the reason why.

Photos from Angus
Today I've just received a new set of photos for the blog, thanks to Angus for taking the time to send them. How many of you can remember Angus or any of the other people in his photos?
Here is a copy of his email...
Hello Jackie, have only just joined your website great site brings
back memories. I have dug out some old pictures and would be
grateful if you could add them for me.
The two pictures with me with the bagpipes were taken
in the Moby and the one with the tall guy was taken in
the Piccadilly and i'm not sure about the other ones.
Thanks
Gus

Kevin
I have just had a look at the message board and seen a very sad piece from Kevin's partner 'Pauline' I wonder if any of you can help with her request. If you have any photos please send them to me in the ususal way and I'll put them on the blog as soon as possible.
This is a copy of Pauline's message.......
Hi
I've only just stumbled on this site today and it's great to see some familiar faces.
I lived with Kevin McDonald for 10 years and we had two beautiful girls. Sadly, circumstances brought myself and the girls back to England but Kevin was still very much in the girls lives until he died 4 years later. Kevin was a big part of Lloret and i know he's missed but there's so many stories that i'm sure some of you could share with the girls. I'd like them to know a bit more about their dad and his life in LLoret and maybe if you've got a pic or two that would be great as we don't have any photos of Kevin when he was younger.
'always thinking of ways to make a better living' His favourite saying to me was ' Pauline, this time next year.......'
Forever in our Hearts Kevin x

Photos from Mike Sparkes
Here are the details from the email he sent with them.
1) Waiting for the clipper home
2) End of season meal in the Calamic(?)
3) Cutty Sark
"I've also added this extra one which is of little general interest but you mentioned somewhere you would like to see evidence of the way the town was back then. It shows the view from our apartment one year. It was up above the top road behind the Britannia and a disco on the corner whose name escapes me.The old farmer toiled long hours in the sun...no mechanical aids for him- hope he sold out for a massive profit"
