Photos from the "Vicar"

I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who brought photos to Stevie's funeral for me to put on the blog, as soon as I get back to Lloret I'll be able to scan them after which I will be able to post them straight back, also thanks to those who said they would send photos.

Thanks to Brian, known to most of you as the 'Vicar' for sending these photos, here's the details he sent for each photo...

2. fm right to left: Dutch Max, who was on holiday, Sharon, i shared a flat with, together with Maggie and Moggie.

    Sue and who knows the person next to her?

    p.s: Does anybody knows anything about Sharon and Moggie.
 

Update on Stevie

Now that Stevie's funeral has taken place back in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire a celebration of Stevie's life will be held in Lloret on 26th March. We've have just got back today from the funeral, and there must have 200 + in the church and at the Club afterwards, what a great send off he had! Photos of flowers can be seen over on Buzzby's web page.

New Comments on Old Stuff

We sometimes get comments added to the Old Stuff photos which have been on the site for several months so they may not always be seen if regular readers dont go back over the older pages. So I've added a new feature which should show the last 10 comments placed on the blog, scroll down the page to find it in the side column then click on the link for the post. Thanks to Jill for coming up with the idea and asking if it would be possible to implement it on the site.

Nice site of the old times in Lloret.

I'm Brian Murray (most people know me as "the Vicar") my name in Lloret.

I worked there fm 1979 till 1983 in Bar Gloria.

Here attached is one of the many foto's i have, made by Ramon.

I was one of his best customers.

In the foto you see Neil and Joan fm Sunderland, still together.

Still in contact with them. I live in Holland now, and still in kontakt with "dutch Vera" (fm the Zoo)

Neil worked in the Texas Burger and Joan was a babysitter.

And the other man in the foto we all know as Franky.

Full details of Stevie's funeral and service have now been published in this weeks copy of the local Batley newspaper, along with details of where to send flowers.
