This latest lot of photos were sent in by Sue. Sue tells us where she worked in the piece below...

Then i went to benidorm for 2 seasons to work for billy lawrenson who im sure many people will remember.

I came back to lloret

1975 where i worked for foto lloses also airport transfers for intasun, (jan Kirby) i did each season until 1982.

I have attached some photos which i hope you will put on for me, im sure a lot of people will be recognised"

Just lately I seem to be getting new photos sent everyday, so I just want to thank everyone for still searching through their old snapshots and taking the time to send them through I really appreciate everyone one I'm sent.
If you have recently sent photos and you dont see them straight away please dont think I'm not going to use them. They are all here, and you will see them on the site sooner or later!!
I'll always try to reply straight away when I receive photos just to let you know they came through to me ok.......Thanks to you all.......Jackie

He also gave the name of the person in the 2nd pic....anyone recognise him?

Tobacco Prices

I've picked up the latest price list for cigs and tobacco and thought it may be of interest to those visiting Lloret for the reunion, it might help you to budget for your stay if you are taking cigs for yourself or friends at home. The tobacconist in Fenals lets you pay by card if you show your passport, I dont think all tobacconists allow this.

Here's a little bit about Ian, he says he worked everywhere in Lloret from 1974 - 1985, and describes his time here as "Best years of my life" His brother Andy was here 1974 -1982 , he worked for Ted for 8yrs.
Ian and his brother are together in the first photo, (Ian is the one on the left) taken in the Pink Panther 1974.

Then goes on to say...."first of all youvé done 1 helluva job with this site...i congratulate u and thank u...i have loads of foto's from all the years i worked in lloret"

I've been working on a brand new website about Lloret de Mar which is not yet complete but well on the way!
